Development of Pest & Disease Forewarning Technique

Early warning for prevention and early action are critical to avoid the devastating impact of pests and diseases on agriculture, livelihoods and food security . In many cases this early warning can be based on monitoring and modelling of meteorological parameters like air temperature, relative humidity, and precipitation. Many plant disease forewarning models have been developed and are in use in different countries in the world.IT Agri is providing solution to identify the parameters that are necessary to monitor agricultural pests and diseases in relation to use of meteorological information for early warning. These include the parameters that affect pest and disease incidence and development, the concepts that apply to the development of forecasting models, and how these can be used for the early detection and control of pest and disease incidences. The firm also assists in preparing Pest Weather Calendar and Disease Weather Calendar as shown below.
