Mrs Nupur Chattopadhyay completed 10th Standard from West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBEE) and 12th Standard from West Bengal of Higher Secondary Education (WBHSE). She passed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with Physics Specialization and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Radio Physics and Electronics) from Calcutta University. She secured First Division and First Class with distinction in all academic examinations. She was awarded scholarship in B. Sc & B. Tech courses from Calcutta University. She was engaged in teaching profession for last 20 years in reputed schools and also has basic computer knowledge & programming languages.

Dr. L. S. Rathore is the former Director General of Meteorology, India Meteorological Department and Permanent Representative of India with the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). He also served as Chair and Vice-Chair of Inter-Governmental Board for Climate Services; International Consultant. The World Bank; International Consultant-UNDP; Member-Executive Council of World Meteorological Organization (WMO); Vice President of WMO Commission for Agricultural Meteorology; Chairman of Governing Council-SAARC Meteorological Research Centre; Scientific Member of 3rd Indian Scientific Expedition to Antarctica; and Visiting Scientist at University of Nebraska, USA. Dr. Rathore made significant contributions towards improving weather and climate prediction particularly extreme weather events. He played a lead role in application of weather and climate in various sectors including agriculture, water, disaster reduction, health, power, environment conservation etc.

Dr. Nabansu Chattopadhyay worked as Head, Agricultural Meteorology Division, India Meteorological Department. Dr. Chattopadhyay has been working in Agrometeorology for more than 35 years and also worked with World Bank and World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) .He has published 150 papers in national and international journals and received various awards and honours. Mr. Mali worked in Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) as Scientific Assistant (Instrument). Besides, he has vast experience on Analogue Computer for flood forecasting, scientific computer programmes for various applications. He worked in National Informatic Centre (NIC) as a programmer and also worked on mainframe and personal computers for various applications as per stakeholders’ requirements.
