During the entire life cycle of crop, livestock, poultry, fishery, weather has great impact. Farmers are usually given advise what they are supposed to do on farm operation based on weather parameters. Agromet advisories are issued at different intervals to the farmers on weakly, fortnightly, monthly and seasonwise.

Rice - Aman
Stage: Flowering
- Apply pesticides after the current spell of rainfall.
- Do not apply irrigation.
- Maintain 2-5 cm land water level.
- Present weather condition is congenial for Yellow Stem borer infestation. Apply Carbofuran at 10 kg per hectare.
Vegetables
- Drain out excess water.
- There is a chance of Phomopsis disease in Brinjal under the prevailing weather condition. Spray Bavistin at 1g per liter of water.

In Bitter gourd, there is a chance of Epilachna beetle infestation
under the present weather conditions.
- At the initial stage, remove and burn the eggs with leaves and baby beetles.
- If infestation is high, apply 2.5g Carbaryl or 2ml Carbosulfan or 1.5ml of Chlorpyriphos + Cypermethrin per liter of water.
- Early planted winter vegetables are in vegetative to flowering stages. Arrange mulching on the standing crop.
- Apply pesticides after the current spell of rainfall.
- Do not apply irrigation.
Horticultural
- The current weather is congenial for fruit blight and fruit rot disease in pomegranate. To control, spray Mancozeb 600g and Carbendazim 100g in 200 liters of water.
- Weather condition favors the incidence of thrips in pomegranate. To control, spray Spinosad 2.5 SC at 10 ml per 10 liters of water.
- Fruit fly incidences in guava are favorable. Use fruit fly traps to control damage in guava orchards.
- Apply pesticides after the current spell of rainfall.
- Do not apply irrigation.
Livestock
- Vaccinate promptly to prevent anthrax, black quarter, and scurvy.
- Consult a veterinary hospital to prevent lumpy skin disease.
- Ensure safe livestock waste management to reduce carbon emissions.
- Provide anthelmintic drugs.
- Disinfect sheds with potassium permanganate or bleaching powder.
- Feed only dry food.
- Maintain cleanliness around sheds and prevent water from pooling on floors.
- Use naphthalene in cattle sheds to protect against mosquitoes and flies.
Poultry
- Provide dry food and ensure clean drinking water.
- Spray disinfectant in sheds before placing poultry.
- Administer dewormers to poultry if they haven’t been dewormed.
- Vaccinate against Raniket and Gumboro disease if not already done.
Fishery
- Contact the nearest Upazila fisheries office immediately if there are fish diseases or slow growth.
- Apply 250-500 gm of lime per decimal at the beginning of winter to prevent fish diseases.
- Reduce food in winter; stop feeding if necessary.
- Monitor fish growth and check for diseases by sampling every 15 days.
- Ensure fish are eating as expected.
- Follow a balanced formula when making fish food to maintain appropriate protein and nutrient levels.
- Feed fish the correct amount at a specific time and place daily.
- Apply fertilizers per day (6gm of Urea and 4gm of TSP per decimal).
